Hut 6 Software, Inc. was founded in July 2001.   Show & Sell was first developed in 1995 for the Gemini DF digital / film dual capture camera system manufactured by Beattie Systems Inc.  The software was later sold separately for use with digital cameras, scanners, etc.  Show & Sell Light was first developed in 1998 as was the SmartPath program for Burrell Professional Labs.

Our Name

In England during the Second World War, an intense effort was made to break the encoded German military communications.  These signals were encrypted using the sophisticated Enigma coding machine.  The efforts to break these codes were centered at Bletchley Park and Hut 6 was the building where many of the Army and Air Force signals were broken.  Hut 6 was the cryptanalytical section: the  messages deciphered here were then sent to Hut 3 the intelligence section for analysis.  It was at Bletchley Park that some of the first computers were developed.
